	Stroke Therapy In addition to standard medical therapy for a stroke, a neurointerventional procedure can be performed to open up blocked arteries restoring blood flow to dying brain tissue.
	Aneurysm Treatment Neurointerventional embolization procedures can greatly reduce the risk of bleeding and stroke from brain aneurysms.
	Stenting Narrowed arteries of the neck and brain may be treated by angioplasty and stenting.
	Vertebroplasty Fractures of the spine due to osteoporosis (weak bones) or cancer can often be treated by injecting bone-cement into the vertebra.
	Vascular Malformation Treatment Neurointerventional embolization procedures can greatly reduce the risk of bleeding from AVMs.
	Tumor Embolization As a step prior to surgical removal of a tumor, blood supply to a tumor can be reduced making surgery easier and safer.
	Wada Test Prior to epilepsy surgery, a Wada test can provide important information regarding the location of the brain's language and memory centers.
	Myelogram Complementing MRI, a myelogram can give additional detailed information about spine disease.
	Treatment of Bleeding Uncontrollable bleeding of the nose, face or neck may be treated by embolization.

New Patients

New patients should be referred by their primary care physician, neurologist, ophthalmologist or neurosurgeon. On the first visit, patients should be prepared to bring medical records, a referral letter, and X-rays and scans.
